Ronnie and his wife, Teresa, acted through the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church to offer a helping hand to those suffering from power outages, food shortage and water cutoffs.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church sent out an email to its members for a volunteer opportunity, which intrigued the couple. They saw one of the two-hour shifts was open Thursday night and jumped on it.

On February 22-23, typhoon Dujuan is expected to enter the East Sea to become the first storm of 2021.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF), the tropical depression in southeastern Philippines has strengthened into a storm, the first of 2021 on the Pacific Ocean. The storm name is Dujuan.
Before entering the East Sea, Dujuan may reach level 9-10, but after passing the Philippines, it may weaken to level 7-8 when it enters the East Sea.

The recent paralyzing winter storm experienced across most of the United States brought to mind a quote I read years before originated by the American oil magnate, John D. Rockefeller. He said, âI always tried to turn every disaster into an opportunityâ. I am pretty certain, based on reading his biography, that Mr. Rockefeller meant his statement for business disasters but it is just as applicable for snow storms.
